Texas Roadhouse is the perfect destination if you want affordable, and yet high-quality, food. And based on this one TikTok, the restaurant chain clearly isn’t afraid to try something new.
The eatery has gone viral for a number of reasons in the past. These include a former server revealing a secret about its meat prep and a customer sharing an interesting menu hack. But this TikTok probably doubles up as free advertising for the company.
The TikTok, which has garnered 1.2 million views, consists of a picture of the Texas Roadhouse menu with an arrow indicating a meal on the menu labeled “chicken alfredo penne.”
The dish is described in the menu as “classic chicken alfredo with grilled chicken, bacon, and a creamy Alfredo cheese sauce served over penne pasta.” The menu item is $17.99. TikToker Rob (@robg214) confirmed in the comments that this was a Texas branch.
In a direct message conversation with BroBible, Rob said: “[I did] not all expect it to go viral I mean I eat Texas roadhouse at least twice a month went to my local roadhouse in Grand Prairie Tx one day with the wife so it thought it was interesting [to] try it. [It] wasn’t bad but [had a] different flavor. [It] was good but never meant to go viral. I just made the video to let other Texas Roadhouse fans know it was something new.”

What Did Commenters Say?
Multiple Texas Roadhouse workers gave their two cents in the comments.
“Woah I work at Texas Roadhouse and I’m just now hearing about this!?” one wrote. “My store was supposed to be the test subject for it but they gave it to a different location,” a second shared.
While a third added, “I work at Roadhouse and it’s SO GOOD!! We don’t do any modifications for it but if you want steak alfredo we can make it we just have to charge you the price of the steak not the alfredo price.”
A fourth emphasized that this dish is available “ONLY at select locations (according to my [manager]).”
Others had a more general appreciation of the dish.
“As a pasta lover I MIGHT have to try,” a fifth said. And a sixth noted, “Y’all can make this at home btw, I do and it’s GAS but I add some ranch seasoning to my pasta.”
Where Can I Find Chicken Alfredo Penne At Texas Roadhouse?
Clearly, based on this TikTok, we can safely assume that this dish is, at least, available at some branches of Texas Roadhouse. Indeed, Texas Roadhouse’s branch in Taylor, Illinois, advertised the menu item in a relatively recent Facebook post.
“Craving something new?” the post reads. “At Texas Roadhouse, we love variety! Come in and try our latest creation, Chicken Alfredo Penne. This legendary dish features penne pasta, grilled chicken, and crispy bacon covered in a delicious made-from-scratch Alfredo sauce.” Notably, the post also says that it is available at that location only.
Despite this, an Instagram user posted a picture of the chicken alfredo penne dish six weeks ago. Accompanying the picture is a post that says, “Get to Texas Roadhouse Outer Loop and try the new Chicken Alfredo. It’s so good!”
Still, while it’s clear that the meal is on the menu in more than one branch, the fact that the menu item doesn’t appear on the Texas Roadhouse website indicates it is only available in a handful of regions.
