The film, helmed by Avengers: Endgame directors Joe and Anthony Russo, has a reported budget north of $200 million, thus making The Gray Man one of the most expensive Netflix films ever made.

The Gray Man marks Ryan Gosling’s first starring role in almost half-a-decade, as he last starred in the 2018 film First Man. Should The Gray Man and his upcoming Barbie film alongside Margot Robbie turn out to be good, though, Gosling will have put together one of the all-time excellent runs by an A-list Hollywood leading man.

Not only does Gosling have The Gray Man and Barbie set to release in the coming years, but he’s also got Project Hail Mary (based on an Andy Weir book), The Fall Guy (a stuntman drama from David Leitch), and the prestige drama The Actor in the works.

As for Evans, he can next be seen voicing Buzz Lightyear in Pixar’s Lightyear, which hits theaters in June. He also recently wrapped production on the AppleTV+ romantic action-adventure film Ghosted alongside The Gray Man co-star Ana de Armas.

In addition to the leading duo of Gosling and Evans, The Gray Man features an ensemble cast that stars Ana de Armas, Regé-Jean Page, Jessica Henwick, Billy Bob Thorton, Wagner Moura, Alfre Woodard, Michael Gandolfini, Julia Butters, and more.
