While we must use the word āallegedā around when discussing TJ Millerās alleged assault incidents and allegations (which make up their own section on his Wikipedia page), we certainly donāt have to caveat the following statement with the word as its purely my opinion: T.J. Miller absolutely sucks.
Not only does he have a litany of allegations (including this 2017 report from The Daily Beast detailing the alleged sexual assault incident) made against him, but his style of comedy just isnāt all that funny. Frankly, the funniest thing about him is his voice.
After flirting with some semblance of fame a few years back thanks to performances as Erlich Bachman in HBOās Silicon Valley and as Weasel in the Deadpool films, Millerās career has completely cratered in recent years due to those aforementioned allegations.
Despite the fact that heās struggling to find Hollywood work these days, Miller clearly doesnāt have any self-awareness about the situation as he recently publicly wondered whyĀ DeadpoolĀ star Ryan Reynolds āhatesā him now.
FormerĀ DeadpoolĀ star T.J. Miller says that he thinks itās āweirdā that Ryan Reynolds āhates himā now
During a recent appearance on The Adam Carolla Show (nice guest get, dude!), Miller detailed the way uncouth Reynolds would treat him on set (perhaps Reynolds knew there was something off with the dude) and said that he thinks itās āweird that he hates me.ā
āAs the character, he was, like, horrifically mean to me. But to me. As if Iām Weasel,ā Miller explained on The Adam Carolla Show. āHe was like, āYou know whatās great about you, Weasel? Youāre not the star, but you do just enough exposition that itās funny, and then we can leave and get back to the real movie.'ā
āI just kind of listened and thought it was weird, and then I got off stage because they were like, āCutā¦?,'ā he said, adding that the crew seemed uncomfortable after the scene, too.
āWould I work with him again? No. I would not work with him again,ā he said. āI sorta wish him well because heās so good at Deadpool, and I think itās weird that he hates me.ā
Surely Ryan Reynolds, perhaps the most powerful actor in Hollywood these days, is utterly broken up about the fact that Miller will no longer work with him.
TJ, hereās some advice for you: perhaps try looking inward instead of outward. Thatās where youāll find the answers you seek.
