A performer playing Nikki from 'Obsession' at Universal Studios was harassed buy a group of teens
The decision to have Nikki from Obsession as a live character at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights raised eyebrows when it was announced, given that the nature of the character is rooted in being abused. It would appear those concerns were valid.
A video going viral on social media shows a group of teenagers reportedly harassing the performer playing “Freaky” Nikki, the character from the hit horror movie Obsession, during a meet-and-greet outside the Dead, Deader, Deadest house at Universal Studios Hollywood’s yearly Halloween Horror Nights.
The teens could be heard yelling for her and chanting “No, no, no!” — the line from the most viral moment in the film — while she was speaking with other guests.

Per the report, a character attendant told the group not to interrupt other guests before the teens then pushed up to the barrier and continued to argue with the attendant.
The Nikki performer briefly broke character to scold them, and when the chanting continued, she crossed her arms in an “X,” which a standard theme park signal alerting security that someone needs to leave.
She apologized to the guests she was with, saying the teens “ruined it,” before a team member escorted her backstage.
“While Nikki was in a middle of interacting with a guest after we got out of Dead, Deader, Deadest house, a group of teenagers were getting loud and rowdy at Nikki which ruined the experience for another guest and it caused Nikki to break character after being overwhelmed and harassed and luckily the Team Member stepped in to deescalate the situation,” the poster of the video explained.

Obsession became one of the biggest Hollywood success stories in recent memory. Written and directed by Curry Barker, Obsession reportedly earned more than $500 million worldwide on a $750,000 budget and is going to be in contention for numerous Academy Award nominations next year.
The film also made a star out of lead actress Inde Navarrette, who has since been cast as Rogue in Marvel Studios’ upcoming X-Men movie.
