We truly are living in the golden age of television, aren’t we? There are more good shows and movies available now than ever before in history. And it’s all thanks to our favorite online streaming services like HBO Max.
Speaking of that, here’s what’s new on HBO Max and HBO (as well as what’s leaving) during the month of August 2022.
New in August, the debut of House of the Dragon, based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood. In addition, all eight seasons of Game of Thrones arrives on HBO Max in 4K Ultra HD, HDR 10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on the ad-free plan and supported devices.
August also brings a variety of original series like the second seasons of Industry, Sweet Life: Los Angeles, House of Ho, and season four of Selena + Chef.
Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Detroit Lions also premieres during the month of August.
Films being added to the service include American Sniper, Children of a Lesser God, The Fault in Our Stars, Trouble With the Curve, Whiplash, and the extended version of The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.
