If you wondered Sunday night why Bronn and Podrick went for a pint right before Cersei shows up instead of sticking around for a meeting that one would think they should have attended, we may have your answer.
In fact, we may have the answer for why over the span of seven seasons and 67 episodes of Game of Thrones Cersei and Bronn, despite his having a close relationship with her brothers, have only appeared in one single scene together, back in season three, according to The Daily Express. A scene in which they didn’t even speak to one another.

According to a Game of Thrones crew member, the actors who play Cersei and Bronn, Lena Headey and Jerome Flynn, were once a couple, many, many years ago, and apparently things did not end well.

Here’s what that crew member told The Telegraph…
“Jerome and Lena aren’t on speaking terms any more and they are never in the same room at the same time,” a member of the crew informs me. “It’s a pity because they appeared to have patched things up for a while, but now the word is they should be kept apart at all costs.”

That…sounds awkward. Perhaps they will be able to patch things up in time for the final season. Lord knows they will have more than enough time to try.
