Crazy bodycam footage shows a wild boar that crashed through the sliding glass door of a Florida home charging at a sheriff’s deputy. The authorities were called to the scene to remove the animal after it broke into a Lee County home and wouldn’t leave.

On social media, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office wrote, “BOARGLARY IN PROGRESS: BOARS GONE WILD. This Lehigh Acres animal had a boar-derline criminal interaction with our deputies! Yesterday, we responded to a not-so-typical burglary on 3rd Street E. Deputies learned the “suspect” went hog-wild, busting through a sliding glass door. We were able to remove the boar from the home, sending him snout and about where he belongs – the woods!”

Bodycam footage shared by the sheriff’s department shows the wild boar just chilling inside the home while an older man sitting in a chair, appearing to be completely nonplussed by the large animal in his living room.

When deputies attempted to remove the animal, the wild boar seemed to get a little heated and charged. In the video, it appears as if the boar managed to clip one of the officers in the leg. Luckily, no one was seriously harmed.

In 2023, several incidents between wild boars and people made news. In one incident, in New Zealand, a man was having a barbecue on his deck when he noticed some piglets in his garden and chased them away. When he turned around to head back to his deck, a large wild boar rammed him, sending him flying into the air and over a bank. He ended up being knocked unconscious and suffered a dislocated shoulder and lacerations on his face.

In another incident just a month prior to that attack, a wild boar was caught on camera charging out of the woods at some snowboarders in Myoko, Japan and ended up breaking one person’s snowboard binding when they tried to use the board for protection.
