- Will Ferrell is arguably the most beloved comedic actor of the 21st century.
- One of his most iconic characters in Jackie Moon from Semi-Pro.
- Ferrell recently showed up to a Warriors pregame warmup dressed as Moon.
What a life Will Ferrell lives. The dude can pop up anywhere at any time doing essentially whatever he wants. He’s got a real Bill Murray vibe to him. Sooner or later, he’ll start popping up places but no one will hear about it because it sounds so unbelievable.
Want to play minor league baseball for a day? Sure! And you know what, we’ll make a documentary about it, too. Want to dress up as Jackie Moon and chunk up half-court shots with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and the rest of the Golden State Warriors? Lace up your sneakers and head onto the court for the pregame warmup, Will!
Something is different about the Warriors roster 🤔

In case you’re too young to remember, Semi-Pro is a 2008 comedy that starred Ferrell, Woody Harrelson, André 3000, Will Arnett, Andy Richter, David Koechner, Rob Corddry, and Maura Tierney. It follows a fictional ABA team known as the Flint Tropics as they try to make their way into the NBA.
Ferrell’s character Jackie Moon — a one-hit-wonder who used the money he made from his hit single “Love Me Sexy” to buy the Flint Tropics — also serves as the team’s head coach, starting power forward, and pre-game announcer.
