A woman in Oshkosh, Wisconsin whose boyfriend filmed a plane in the afternoon sky noticed something unusual when they looked at the footage. It appears as though he may have accidentally captured video of a flying saucer-shaped UFO.

The video was taken around noon of Sunday Nov. 3. The UFO that glides across the sky in the video seems to be almost transparent. Whatever it was, it does have the classic saucer shape that is commonly associated with UFO sightings. It also appears to possibly have a dome on its top.

“I’m not talking about the plane,” Samantha Allard, the woman whose boyfriend shot the video, told The Hidden Underbelly 2.0. “I’m looking at what is under it. Look about a third of the way up two seconds in… something starts at the left-hand side of the screen and goes to the right.

“My boyfriend has a phone with super zoom on it and was only trying to film the plane,” she continued. “After watching the video back, he noticed something under it and when slowed down we noticed what looks like a possible disc. We’ve all been trying to come up with something logical as to what it could be.”

UFO sightings in Oshkosh, Wisconsin have happened before

This isn’t the first time a UFO has been filmed over Oshkosh. Back on July 31, 2023, another sighting was recorded by the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC). In that case, a keyhole-shaped UFO was filmed hovering over a resident’s house looking east over a lake.

A May 2025 report by WBAY News, listed Oshkosh as the city in Wisconsin with the sixth-most UFO sightings. The top five are Racine, Kenosha, Green Bay, Madison, and Milwaukee. Oshkosh does however lead the state in the most haunted university residence halls.
