How This Woman Didn’t Crash After Finding A Giant Spider In Her Car While Driving Is A Miracle

File this under dangerous distracted driving times a gazillion. We take you to Australia because of course that’s where a massive spider would just be randomly hanging onto the ceiling of a car haunting you to your core. On Friday, Bianca Merrick of Coffs Harbour was driving to her house when she noticed an enormous spider clinging to the visor above her head. Only a mere inches away from her head, a colossal arachnid lurked.

“I was on my way home from work when I looked up and saw it staring at me,” Merrick said. “I considered stopping but I didn’t know how I’d get it out of the car, so I thought the best option for me was to keep driving and pretend it wasn’t there for the longest 20 minutes of my life.” What a trooper Bianca is. “When I got home I slowly got out of the car, locked the door, went to sleep and pretended that it never happened. I checked the car next [day], armed with bug spray and a broom but there was no spider to be found.” That’s because that gargantuan beast opened the door, let itself out, then probably went hunting for a small fawn.

Bravo for Bianca for sticking in there and not driving into oncoming traffic or an embankment. These GIFs are illustrations as to how most people would have responded.
