A woman in the United Kingdom has pleaded guilty in court to aggressively farting in “inappropriate” videos she sent to her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. A probation officer reportedly said there was “bad blood” between her and her boyfriend’s ex.

Rhiannon Evans, 25, of Caernarfon, Gwynedd, made her plea this week in magistrates court in Cearnarfon, North Wales after being charged with harassment. Evans reportedly caused Deborah Prytherch “distress and anxiety” thanks to the multiple videos she sent Prytherch of herself farting on camera.

According to Metro, prosecutor Diane Williams stated in court that in Evans’ first video, “she proceeds to pass gas by placing the camera on her bottom and passing the gas.” Evans would proceed to send three videos of herself farting in total on December 22.

Over the next several days, Williams alleged, Evans sent four more videos of herself farting to Prytherch. Each time, Williams stated, the videos showed “Miss Evans passing wind, her face smiling at the camera.”

Evans, who later admitted to sending the farting videos after her arrest, “wanted to send videos because she felt her partner was being treated unfairly,” the prosecutor claimed. “It was purely malicious. She was smirking throughout, found it hilarious but the victim didn’t.”

Harriet Gorst, the attorney representing Rhiannon Evans, explained to the court, “There are some issues going on between Miss Evans’s partner and his ex-partner with regard to child contact.” She also added, “At the time she sent these videos she had some drinks and she sent them, understanding now this has caused the victim some distress. She sent them without malicious intent.”

The probation officer stated that Evans didn’t think sending her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend a bunch of farting videos was a criminal offense and questioned why the victim hadn’t just “blocked” her.

Evans was ordered to undergo 15 rehabilitation sessions, abstain from drinking alcohol for 60 days, pay £100 ($124) compensation and £199 ($248) costs, and not contact the victim, as she was placed under a two-year restraining order.
