The official trailer for A24's 'You Can See Everything' has been released
A24 has released the official trailer for You Can See Everything, a documentary about fraudster Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes that’s become one of the year’s most anticipated films since premiering at Telluride earlier this month.
The documentary is a collaboration between The Rehearsal and Nathan For You creator Nathan Fielder and acclaimed documentarian Lance Oppenheim, who recently made his feature film debut with Primetime.

34 days before Holmes began her federal prison sentence for defrauding Theranos investors, she and her partner, Billy Evans, invited a film crew into their home. Holmes, despite being on the verge of entering federal prison, continues to maintain her innocence.
Fielder and Oppenheim kept filming long after that, following the couple well past the point anyone expected them to still have access.
According to critics who screened the film at Telluride, You Can See Everything — which clocks in just six minutes short of being 3-hours-long — features narrative and structural twists that have not yet been revealed in the marketing.
RogerEbert.com said You Can See Everything “might advance a new cinematic language in the mainstream non-fiction sphere,” while Variety described the film as being a “one-of-a-kind reality-TV-as-hangout-movie psychodrama circus.”
Alongside its debut at Telluride, the first teaser for the film was released and showed Fielder pressing Holmes on whether she’s being genuine with him while she rocks her baby in a bouncer just out of frame.
“I’m not that person. I can promise you that… I don’t have anything to deceive you on; of course, I’m not deceiving you,” a wide-eyed Holmes tells a suspicious Fielder, who attempts to decipher whether she’s being honest or not.
“I’m engaging with you as a human being. Why would I deceive you? There’s no reason for me to do that… I’m always being real.”
You Can See Everything, which will be released in theaters on October 16, is sitting at 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes based on its early reviews, with critics singling out Fielder’s on-camera presence as the film’s biggest surprise.
Holmes remains at the federal prison camp in Bryan, Texas, with a projected release date of 2030.
