Zach Wilson married Nicolette Dellanno at their lavish wedding in New York City over the weekend. The NFL quarterback’s mother shared more than 20 minutes of exclusive behind-the-scenes content to Instagram— from the rehearsal dinner, to the ceremony at the iconic St. Patrick’s Cathedral, to the reception at the Rainbow Room.
No expense was spared for a luxurious celebration of two families who are forever bonded as one!
Wilson, entering his fifth season in the NFL, met Dellanno in 2022. He was playing for the Jets at the time. She is from New Jersey and currently works as one of the top designers at Morgan & Co. out of Manhattan. They were first spotted together at a Yankees game. The rest is now history.
Before we jump into the BTS video, lets first discuss these two families. Although they actually have a lot in common at their core, they come from two very different backgrounds.
On one end are Zach’s parents, Mike and Lisa Wilson. They met at the University of Utah. Mike is from Hawaii, which Tua Tagovailoa could not comprehend. Not that it matters, but the Wilson family patriarch has never had a sip of alcohol in his life. I would assume the same of Lisa, who grew up in the the Mormon faith— though I cannot say that with absolute certainty.
On the other end are Nicolette’s parents. There is not a lot of public information about Kathy and Robert Dellanno other than that they are Italians from New Jersey. They even own an Italian restaurant in Red Bank called Pazzo. I once again cannot say for sure, but I would imagine that they enjoy a good bottle of red wine with their pasta.
Both families are similar in that they put family over everything and share the same values in terms of manners, etc. Both groups are also full of big personalities. They have a lot of fun. There are a lot of commonalities!
However, you still have a big ex-LDS, quarter Polynesian family merging with a big Italian family. The Wilsons are not religious. The Dellannos are Catholic. It is an unlikely pairing.

Even if it sometimes embarrasses her children, a large part of Lisa’s brand is full transparency. Her posts most often focus on snippets of the Wilson family’s life with complete honesty at the forefront. Not every day is perfect. No family is perfect. Some moments are good. Some are not so good.
This weekend was all good great!
It started with dinner at Pazzo on Thursday. The rehearsal dinner took place on Friday at Arno on the corner of West 38th and 7th near Bryant Park in midtown.
The wedding took place on Saturday. Lisa Wilson made sure to document the lead-up!
And then it was time for the gorgeous ceremony at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral.
From there, it was off to the reception at the Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center. To rent the Rainbow Room for an event costs no less than $120,000 on the low end!
