Aspiring Rapper Gets Hired By Kanye After Hearing Him Spit Bars In The STREET

Kanye West was in Los Angeles for the Grammys and various pre-Grammys celebrations. As he was leaving Big Sean’s Yahoo! Live set at the House Of Blues on Saturday night a dude just walked up to him and started dropping rhymes. “I wish you would give me a deal,” the aspiring rapper rapped. “I swear, I need it / I swear my whole life, this sh-t, I been dreamin’ / I swear to God, I feel it.” This is very ironic since Big Sean got signed to Ye’s GOOD Music in part by rhyming live for Mr. West.

The rap go-getter Cameron Grey impressed Justin Bieber, who was in the background and even asked for more bars.

Cameron gladly and nervously obliged:

“Hey Mr. West
My name is Cam Grey from the 9-3-7
Came to annihilate
Young heavyweight, primate
Young cam standing in front of Kanye
I wish you would give me a deal
I swear I need it
I swear my whole life this shit I been dreaming
I swear to God I feel it
I swear I made this happen
Last night I told my homie this would happen
I told him I’d meet ‘Ye…”

After his impromptu audition, Yeezy asked him what may be the most important question in his life, “Are you open to start off as, like, an assistant?” To which Grey eagerly replied, “I’m down to start anything.” It’s no three-album deal, but a huge door has swung open for Cameron.

Cameron expressed his jubilation about the meeting on his Twitter.

Here’s Cameron’s “I Want It All” joint with him rapping over Meg Myers’ song “Desire.” What do you think does he have the talent for a deal?
