Behind-The-Scenes Footage Of George Michael And David Bowie Paying Tribute To Freddie Mercury

2016 was a swift kick to the ballsack as far as celebrity deaths go (And there’s still 5 days and 15 hours). We lost Alan Rickman, Gene Wilder, Mohammed Ali, Prince, David Bowie, and now George Michael. We flashback to 1992, a time when both Michael and Bowie were alive and paying tribute to the great Freddie Mercury.

There was a tribute concert to Freddie Mercury and George Michael completely owned this cover of “Somebody to Love.” And who was enjoying the amazing rendition? None other than David Bowie with Seal by his side (At the 4:11 mark). Yes, Seal used to have dreads.

Bowie honored the late great Queen singer by singing “Under Pressure” with Annie Lennox. And who was enjoying the amazing rendition? None other than George Michael (At the 2:11 mark).

RIP to the legends.
