CHALLENGE: Try Watching Eli Roth’s Horror Movie ‘Clown’ Trailer Without Peeing Down Your Leg

From the director who brought you horror movie Hostel and caused me to sleep with a swiss army knife under my pillow for two weeks, Eli Roth seems to have kicked it up a notch.

Roth is producing and starring in Clown, a film about a well-to-do dad who puts on a clown suit for his son’s birthday, can’t take it off, and turns into a fucking psycho child killer.

The concept originated as a fan-made trailer back in 2010 and was released in Italy in November 2014 after their featured poster was banned there for being “too scary”.  You be the judge…

This may frighten the average human, but for a guy who’s nuanced in rolling  over in the morning after a night out and seeing a similar version of the above, it doesn’t even phase me. It actually kinda turns me on. Don’t judge me.

The film has been released on DVD in the UK earlier this month and reviews are what you’d expect:

The gore level in this movie is extremely high. It will make your skin crawl. It won’t be to every one’s taste, as limbs are literally ripped from bodies, heads kicked off.

Woo! I will make sure not to see it because I’m a bonafide Beta male when it comes to scary movies, but when my friends are talking about it I’ll shake my head and pretend I still don’t sleep with a night light after reading a Goosebumps books when I was 8.

The release date for the U.S. has yet to be announced but it’s just a matter of time.
