Three Comedians Accuse Amy Schumer Of Stealing Jokes, Video Appears To Support Their Claim

Amy Schumer is getting a crash course on the harsh realities of becoming famous. They build you, and they tear you down. There are new allegations from three comedians that claim that Schumer stole jokes from them.

Comedian Wendy Liebman sparked the controversy by tweeting out, “Between Amy Schumer doing 1 of my best jokes on her HBO special and this meme of my joke, I’m done with social media.” That tweet was deleted, but it struck a chord with other comedians.

Arrested Development writer and comedian Chuck Martin replied to Liebman’s tweet suggesting that she talk to comedian Kathleen Madigan, insinuating that the same thing may have happened to her.

Madigan replied with now deleted tweets:

“wow. finally. get ready for a shit storm”

And.

“I have a split screen being released of the disgusting amount of stealing being released tomoro. im done also. Game over @WendyLiebman”

Madigan re-tweeted this.

Then another female comedian chimed in on the Twitter discussion. Tammy Pescatelli went on Twitter barrage that claimed Schumer stole jokes, which was also later deleted.

What has always been amazing to me is that she purports to be a feminist and yet only steals from other female comedians. If we call her on it we are “jealous” or career shamed. Be successful. WE want you to do well, just do it will your own material.BTW she blocked me

Pescatelli also gave evidence of the similarities, citing Tammy’s Comedy Central half hour special from 2006 and a skit from Inside Amy Schumer and her movie Trainwreck. Then she fired off shots at the Trainwreck star.

So many more but nobody listens…at least Cosby knocked his victims out b4 he raped them.

No beef. Just presenting facts of oppression and degradation https://t.co/dL3dmCr5KF

I tell my truth today, because I too, have a dream……

Pescatelli referenced the infamous defense of stealing music by Vanilla Ice.

Liebman ended the conversation by saying, “It’s all good.”

Here’s a video documenting possible instances of Schumer stealing material.

This isn’t the first time Schumer has been accused of Carlos Menstealing material. Back in October, there was accusations that Schumer ripped off jokes from the legendary Patrice O’Neal.

Schumer became a media darling from various stand-up specials that led to her extremely successful Inside Amy Schumer show that has been renewed for a fourth and fifth season by Comedy Special, that led to her getting an opportunity to do her own movie, Trainwreck, which was directed by Judd Apatow. Joke thievery is probably the most damning offense a comedian can be accused of. Isn’t that right Fat Jew?
