Denzel Washington Doesn’t Think Your ‘Uncle Denzel’ Memes Are Funny, Makes Incredibly Childish Comment

When Denzel Washington showed up to the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight last year rocking a sweatsuit, baseball cap and a magnificent mustache he was immediately turned into the hilarious meme Uncle Denzel.

Of course that magnificent mustache was for The Magnificent Seven, but to most people Denzel looked more like somebody’s uncle than one of Hollywood’s greatest actors.

Funny, right? Well, Denzel doesn’t think it’s funny at all.

Speaking with Global Grind correspondent BlogXilla, Washington had zero time for those who laughed at him.

“If I had my wallet, I’d show it to you. They don’t know what I was doing. They don’t need to know,” said Washington, who also dropped a “those who can do and those who can’t talk about those who can” on those who made jokes.

Whoa. Take it easy there. It’s just a silly meme, Denzel. That being said, I saw The Equalizer, one of my all time favorite films, and I definitely don’t want to be on Denzel’s bad side, no sir.

Eh, what the hell, it’s just too funny not to take a few more looks.
