HBO announced today that Eastbound & Down's final season will consist of eight episodes, and then the show will, definitively, end. The run starts on September 29 at 10 p.m., and it'll follow the wonderfully self-destructive Kenny Powers a few years after he decided to fake his own death and move back to North Carolina to shack up with April, as they try to “live the American Dream.” No word yet on what Stevie will be up to. Stevie's the best character ever.
