Actor Who Plays Jamie Lannister On ‘Game Of Thrones’ Almost Let A Big Season 7 Spoiler Slip

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau plays Jamie Lannister on HBO’s Game of Thrones. There are some minor spoilers in this post because we’re talking about a potential Season 7 spoiler. I will be dropping details about Jamie and Cersei Lannister’s lives up to this point. So, if you’re not caught up you might want to tread lightly.

Jamie is the one-handed twin brother of Cersei Lannister, and **Minor Spoiler Alert** father to several children he conceived with his twin sister. Two of those children went on to marry the same woman, Margaery Tyrell, and become King of Westeros. Throughout all of this Jamie has been in love with his twin sister Cersei. We’re talking madly in love to the level that we only see in books or on TV, the type of love that causes you do to crazy shit.

In an interview with The Daily Beast, the actor who plays Jamie Lannister, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, almost let slip a potentially massive Season 7 spoiler. As it stands, he stopped himself before giving away the crucial detail but he left enough slip that we’re not sitting here wondering what in the possible fuck he could be talking about:

“He’s not like his sister and brother, but he’s been on the battlefield his whole life, and knows about people’s weaknesses and loving someone unconditionally—because he loves his sister unconditionally. Plus, there are no other suitors. Well, that’s not true… but he has to step up and take his father’s place. Wow, I was about to reveal something from Season 7 and thought, ‘What am I doing?'” Via

Hmmm….

Cersei’s going to have a new suitor in Season 7, I think we can assume that from the tiny bit that we leaked. Given everything that we know about Jamie’s character it’s safe to assume that this will be a massive point of contention for him. Cersei is crazy as fuck, so it’s likely that she’ll go with a suitor of 1) it provides safety and security for the Lannister family (or what’s left of it), 2) she’s so deranged I could see her her getting married just to spite her brother Jamie, and/or 3) if she’s being offered an army to attack Dorne in exchange for marriage I could see that happening….But who could this serious suitor be? I’ll let you bros speculate down below in the comments.
