Maybe this just says a lot about what post-grad life is like, but one of the highlights of my 2014 is beating Grand Theft Auto V. Thought I bought it at midnight the day it came out, lining up outside a GameStop in my neighborhood, I played a couple missions then shelved it until the cold winter months, when I knew it’d be a great remedy for cabin fever.
There’s no doubt it’s one of the most amazing open-world games ever made. What would it be like, though, if GTA V were a first-person shooter? Modder XBL ToothPik made a couple of tweaks so that you can experience Los Santos from a first-person POV. It’s pretty amazing:
