John Mulaney has been around stand up comedy since his teens. He’s heard his fair share of heckling — both directed at other comics and aimed right at his boyish face.
Mulaney shared his favorite heckle with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show. It happened early in Mulaney’s career in the sleepy little town of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, when Mulaney was performing in front of a crowd that wasn’t too interested in hearing stand up comedy. Especially because Mulaney and the stage were “blocking the beer truck.”
