Are you wondering what Jesus Quintana has been up to since The Big Lebowski? Well, we know that nobody fucks with the Jesus. That’s for damn sure. Now the actor who played Jesus, John Turturro, is about to bring you up to date on all the shenanigans that Mr. Quintana has been up to. Turturro is working on a Big Lebowski spin-off.
Fans of the 1998 cult classic have been clamoring filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen for a sequel to The Big Lebowski for years. The duo don’t seem to be doing another TBL flick so Turturro grabbed the bowling ball by the shammy and is making his own spin-off.

Turturro was recently seen in NYC working on picking up his 7-10 split.
However, the movie will be titled “Going Places,” and will not only be a spin-off, it will also be a remake. The plot and the title come from a 1974 French comedy called Les Valseuses that stars a much skinnier Gerard Depardieu.
Birth.Movies.Death.com reports that Turturro and Bobby Cannavale are “two petty thieves, Turturro’s Jesus and Cannavale’s Petey, compete to give a woman (Tautou) her first orgasm after she’s roped into their hijinks. Susan Sarandon also ends up in their company, playing a criminal who just got out after a long stint in prison.”

Hopefully, Turturro’s eczema-covered feet don’t flare up while filming Going Places like they did when he was John Stone in The Night Of because those tight and inflexible bowling shoes can be torture.
