WATCH: N.W.A. Reunited For Their First Live Performance In 26 Years And It Was Intense

A couple of weeks ago, we informed you that N.W.A. would reunite for the first time since 1999 to promote their highly anticipated biopic, Straight Outta Compton. Ice Cube, MC Ren and DJ Yella sent the crowd at the Staples Center into a frenzy during their seven-song set at the BET Experience on Saturday night.

Missing was Dr. Dre and Easy-E, who passed away 20 years ago last March. The set was full of fire and rage, everything you would expect from the iconic gangsta rap group. Ice Cube drove a Los Angeles Police Department cruiser onto the stage as the huge screen behind him showed various video footage of police brutality from everything from Ferguson to the recent pool party in McKinney, Texas.

Ice Cube performed his hits “Check Yo Self,” “You Can Do It” and “It Was a Good Day,” and the N.W.A trio performed four of their tracks in the middle, including “8 Ball,” “Straight Outta Compton,” “Chin Check” and “Fuck tha Police.”

The BET Experience concert also featured performances by Snoop Dogg (Who appeared with N.W.A. for one joint), Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock.

Straight Outta Compton hits theaters on August 14.
