Agent Carter starring Hayley Atwell as Agent Peggy Carter, who you may remember from the Captain America films, aired its first full-length trailer last night during Marvel’s 75th anniversary show and as expected Agent Carter is a bit of a badass.
Of course, Peggy Carter wasn’t frozen in ice like her buddy Steve Rogers so the show is set in 1946 and in the trailer we get to see Carter working with Tony’s dad Howard Stark (played by Dominic Cooper) and being introduced to Edwin Jarvis, the Stark’s butler and inspiration for the name of Tony’s virtual assistant in the Iron Man films. Then, at the end, we get to see her kick a little bad guy butt. Always fun.
Agent Carter premieres in January with eight episodes on ABC during the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hiatus.
