Warner Bros. dropped the first feature length trailer today for Joe Wright’s ‘Pan’, a Peter Pan prequel featuring Hugh Jackman as some sort of eccentric Blackbeard the Pirate.
In it we also see that Peter Pan the Man is friends with James Hook, who hasn’t turned into the murderous one-handed pirate we know him to be in later iterations of Peter Pan.
To be perfectly honest I have no idea what to make of this trailer. It’s so loopy and futuristic, and my brain’s swirling around from all the turkey we had here for lunch in the BroBible office, I can’t tell if I already hate this movie or love it. So you watch and be the judge:
