Season 7 of Game of Thrones is officially in production!!! YES!!! But Season 7 is still a year away! FUCK ME!!! To whet your appetite and to drive you absolutely mad that you are so far away from the next to final 13-episode season, HBO released an in-production teaser trailer.
At the end of the Game of Thrones panel at San Diego Comic Con, they unveiled the first glimpses of anything officially tied to Season 7.
In the video, fine craftsmen are creating everything from many rocks with eyeballs on them (funeral stones) for possibly all of the dead from the wildfire sept explosion, Greyjoy and Arryn shields, a wood construction that says “Sansa’s Ch…” (Sasnsa’s Chair? Sansa’s Chambers? Sansa’s Chamber Pot?), there’s a war map that focuses on Dorne, Lannister tapestry, black outfits for the newly anointed Queen Cersei, and scripts are being handed out.
The video makes you appreciate how much behind-the-scenes work goes into making Game of Thrones so authentic and movie-like.
There is audio of Sansa’s final words to Ramsay Bolton “Your house will disappear…” and his last words to her “You can’t kill me, I’m part of you…” are played during the footage. Followed by the growl of her dogs. While most suspect that Ramsay telling Sansa, “You can’t kill me, I’m a part of you,” means that she is pregnant with his offspring. But could this possibly mean that Sansa continues her dark descent, becomes more like the evil bastard and begins using Ramsay’s hounds to kill her enemies?
The video ends with Tyrion Lannister telling someone (Assumingly talking to Daenerys Targaryen), “Welcome home my Queen.”
So one could assume that Khaleesi triumphantly made the voyage from Slaver’s Bay to Westeros.
*hype boner erect*
Only a year until we get a better idea who will sit on the Iron Throne.
Speaking of Season 7, did you know that a Harry Potter actor is coming to GoT?
