A thoroughly pissed off hombre who saw Suicide Squad has commissioned his lawyer brother to sue Warner Brothers for “false advertising”, claiming that the studio used deleted scenes of Jared Leto’s Joker in numerous trailers to mislead moviegoers into thinking his character would be more prominently featured. I’ve yet to see the flick, but many Leto fans, and Leto himself, were very disappointed that the Joker had little screen time.
I mean, other than Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, who’s generated more buzz than Leto as the Joker FOR ALMOST TWO YEARS! Dude spent time with actual psychopaths to craft his act.

Nothing grinds my gears more than a misleading trailer. It’s essentially the cinematic equivalent of spam. Or clickbait. Or trolling. Hey! You like The Joker? You like Jared Leto (uh… sure)? You’ve read and seen and heard how “in character” he was at all times during production, creeping out his co-stars? You’re interested to see his take on this iconic villain? Well, you’re gonna get it! Here’s just a taste of what you can expect*! He’s gonna make Heath Ledger’s Joker look like a joke with how terrifying he is!
*And, by taste, we mean WAY WAY more than what you’ll see in the movie.
Yeah, only problem is they didn’t include an asterisk or some barely legible fine print like you see in car commercials. I gotta say… I agree with this incensed dude.
VIDEO: Is The Joker actually Robin?
Here’s his Reddit post explaining why he’s suing:
My brother (who is a lawyer) and I are going to sue WB and DC for false advertising, misleading visual images and gaining a profit from us and millions others due to these acts. Our case has been accepted. We begin 11.08.16

I really want to love the burger analogy, but getting regular cheese instead of mild cheese? Meh. I’ll deal. Shoving Jared Leto’s Joker down our throats for an entire year only to have him appear in a forgettable number of scenes? That’s like ordering that burger and getting just the buns. And unlike Sir Mix-a-lot, I want more than buns, hon.
I totally agree that “this nonsense of false bullsh*tery” has to stop. Maybe it will. He says he’s going to court on August 11th with his bro-yer (lawyer brother). I’m willing to testify, friend.
