Sergeant Larry Wise of the Cedar Hill Police Department in Texas decided that he was going to pay homage to another Texan during an awards banquet. That other Texan just so happened to be Matthew McConaughey and Wise’s homage just so happened to be a spoof of McConaughey’s ridiculous, booger-rolling Lincoln commercials.
Rather than going down the path of dressing up like, and trying to pretend to be, McConaughey, Wise plays himself in the spoof. He drives around in his Ford Explorer squad car and questions how the fuck he wound up being a police office and not something else. Making us all hope that this is based more in fiction than it is reality.
