Tracy Morgan is almost ready to begin his stand-up tour next month and from the looks of his appearance on The Tonight Show he’s absolutely gonna slay.
“Don’t call it a comeback,” says Morgan during the interview, but it truly is an impressive one nonetheless.
There were so many highlights, but the best part might have been when Morgan joked about going back into a coma after congratulating Jimmy Fallon on beating David Letterman in the ratings only to find out that Dave had retired.
“I liked that dude,” said a “shocked” Morgan. “I’m going back in the coma!”
He then talked about some other things that had changed since waking up, such as Donald Trump running for President. “Donald Trump is leading in the polls,” said Morgan. “I’m going back!”
Morgan also had a few thoughts on John Boyega’s role in Star Wars: The Force Awakens. “Hold up! One black dude in the whole galaxy! I’m pissed off, man! That was Lando Calrissian’s nephew. He pulled some strings to get him in the cadets. They got him doing that crappy job. He left a good union job as a Stormtrooper. Good union job! I tried to get him an application for sanitation. I’m a tell you something, man: Chewbacca’s not good, man. He’s behind in his child support payments right now. Everybody knows Chewbacca’s in rehab right now!”
Morgan also hit on the Rocky movies and The Godfather, among other things. Definitely a must-watch.
Tracy and Jimmy also faced-off in a game of “Pup Quiz” where the winner of each round gets a puppy to snuggle with. Needless to say there’s a lot of win going on here as well.
