Sony PlayStation and developer Naughty Dog revealed the official story trailer for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and it is tremendous. Nathan Drake returns as the protagonist of the series, in what is said to be the final game to star the fortune-hunting adventurer.
The fourth chapter of the extremely successful video game franchise is set three years after the events of Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Nathan has presumably retired from the fortune-hunting business, but when his brother, Sam, needs his help, Drake quickly finds himself on another dangerous escapade.
The dynamic duo jet-set deep into the forests of Madagascar in search of Captain Henry Avery’s long-lost treasure. Sam and Drake head to Libertalia, a fabled pirate utopia that is said to have much gold.
The game’s director. Neil Druckman, considers this to be “the best trailer in Naughty Dog’s history” and “the team is working extremely hard to deliver our most ambitious game to date.”
Uncharted 4 is out April 26 for PS4.
