Uh oh. Bad news for our favorite bandwagon sports fan Drake.
The “Views” rapper is being sued for allegedly sending his bodyguard to beat the crap out of a record producer who declined to work with him.
According to rapper/producer Details, back in 2014 Drake offered him the job of being his exclusive producer. Details, however, didn’t want to be locked down to just one artist so he declined Drake’s offer.

According to the lawsuit, the rejection didn’t sit well with Drake, who became irate. Time passed but the bad feelings lingered. Detail claims in June 2014, Drake invited him to his Calabasas estate, on the pretext of working together again.
Detail says he arrived at 2 AM and was met by Drake’s bodyguard, Chubbs, who coldcocked him and broke his jaw.
Detail says during the beating, Chubbs yelled, “I will beat all your asses, including your bitches. I don’t give a f***. I will hit you again. Do you think Drake is soft? You think Drake’s a punk?”
Page Six reports that this isn’t the first time Drake’s bodyguard has been accused of doling out a beating to someone Drake felt slighted by.
In April, a photographer in Toronto claimed that Drake and his bodyguard threatened another photographer after taking pictures of their helicopter landing.
Back then the photographer felt that Drake should have apologized. This time, however, Drake and his bodyguard are facing something much more serious: a lawsuit with a whole lot of money at stake.
