Country shows are notoriously massive shit-shows. Almost everyone in the live music industry knows that country shows attract a certain type of rowdy, brash individual (think: cargo jorts with sleeveless tees) who gets belligerently drunk at 9AM and proceeds to, um, “fuck shit up” for the rest of the day. For example, see the incidents that went down at a Kenny Chesney and Luke Bryan in Pittsburgh a few years back.
On Saturday night Kenny Chesney played to a crowd of 52,000 people at Lambeau Field in Green Bay. It transpired into a predictable shit show, with 25 people were arrested, police confiscating tickets from at least 125 other people, and ejecting “likely between 250 and 300,” according to the Green Bay Press Gazette.
Meanwhile, the Doug Schneider — a reporter at the Green Bay Press Gazette — live-tweeted the police scanner from the event itself. You can listen to a recording over at Deadspin, but the tweets speak for themselves.
