Kanye West Releases New Song, ‘God Level,’ On the Day of His Wedding

Classic Kanye move: Release a song on the day you’re dominating the news cycle. The full version started circulating on Soundcloud this morning, but now all that’s left is this snippet in a an Adidas commercial for the FIFA World Cup. The previously unreleased track was produced by “Blood On The Leaves” collaborator Hudson Mohawke, 88-Keys, Mike Dean, Noah Goldstein, and West himself. The song is obviously part of his deal with Adidas, the one Yeezy claimed would make him “bigger than Wal Mart” last year.

Via NME, Tom Ramsden, Global Brand Marketing Director, adidas football, says: “The “all in or nothing” campaign is all about putting it all on the line, giving everything to your passion and accepting nothing but the best. This is a mentality which has defined Kanye’s career, making his music for the advert the perfect reflection of the attitude of “all in or nothing”. Both Kanye and adidas are global leaders in their own fields, so it is a natural collaboration.”

Here’s Yeezus’s money shot line: “You see sharks in the water/Then they try to do nothin’ but put c*cks in your daughter”

Congrats on your marriage, Mr. West, Mr. West.

Song of the summer?
