Trey Anastasio a.k.a. Big Red a.k.a Chuck Norris’s guitar-shredding doppelganger is a Bro at heart. He loves the Flyers, shows up in the stands and Jets and Mets games, started a chant for Russell Wilson at Seahawks games, and has partied his face off with Nelly, as well as pretty much every other cultural luminary. Now 50, he constantly sells out Madison Square Garden and pretty much every other high profile concert venue with his three best college buddies. He’s pretty good at guitar too.
Which brings us to this amazing pic of Trey from his solo tour that’s criss-crossing America right now. The sax player in his band, James Casey, showed him how to swipe on Tinder. As you can tell, Big Red is quite amused.
I wonder what his opening line is. “You ever hear Meatstick?” is probably a pretty good way to end up blocked on Tinder, despite being a perfectly valid question to Phish fans.
