It’s a travesty that the Red Hot Chili Peppers won’t be performing at this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show in place of Coldplay. One of those bands is considered to be among the greatest and most successful rock bands in history, the other band is shitty ass Coldplay. The Red Hot Chili Peppers’ music is so good it holds up across cultural barriers, meanwhile Coldplay just gets ripped on worldwide for being a god awful band.
Above you can see the ‘Young Adults’, a trio of Russian women who rock out with a ukulele and a trombone, and a quick perusal of their YouTube channel shows that they’ve been known to rage Western music from time to time, not something we’d expect to see from a Russian music group. I’d like to jumpstart a movement to get Coldplay replaced as the halftime performance of the Super Bowl show with these chicks but I’m sure Roger Goodell would just ignore the fans, as he did when he announced Coldplay as the half time act.
