best black and white everyday carry gear

Let’s freshen up your everyday carry essentials with this personally curated collection of the best men’s gear all in black and white. You can shop the complete collection or pick and choose any of your favorites by following the links throughout this article. Here’s the thing, while Black is the primary color of Winter you can rock this collection all year long. And these everyday carry essentials fit seamlessly with your other gear. So let’s get to it!

First up is The Lightwell Field Watch Mark III [$200] which is powered by Seiko’s solar-quartz movement with a solar panel. It takes just one minute of sunlight to power this watch for 24-hours and a fully-charged watch has a power reserve of 4 months. This is a stylish watch which can be worn every day but you can also dress it up or down depending on the occasion.

The Vans Classic Slip-On 98 DX – Anaheim Factory [$75] pays tribute to the shoes made in the first Vans factory in Anaheim, CA. They feature sturdy suede uppers and signature rubber waffle outsoles.

Here we’ve got lululemon At Ease Hoodie [$148] which is a personal favorite of mine. I picked this hoodie up a few weeks ago and I’ve been wearing it on the couch quite literally every single day since. I have it in this Heathered Ancient Copper colorway but it also comes in a Light Grey style. It has a four-way stretch and a large Kangaroo pouch (with an internal zipper pocket) for tucking your hands or valuables. There’s a hidden ‘media pocket’ for you phone. This is truly the most comfortable and best-fitting hoodie I’ve ever owned so check this one out for sure (and thank me later!).

Anytime someone asks me what the most comfortable joggers are for lounging I say without question the answer is Vuori Ponto Performance Pants [$84]. I’ve been rocking these weekly for a year now and the 4-way stretch moves naturally with your body while the uniquely soft material is better than anything I’ve ever owned in this category. They are moisture-wicking and quick-drying for comfort while you work out and the modern straight-leg fit looks great.

The The Pike Pocket Knife [$125] in Black is a limited-edition pocket knife from The James Brand that I needed you gentlemen to know about before it’s gone. The PVD black blade made from Sandvik 12c27 knife steel and the handle scale made from G10, a high-pressure fiberglass composite that’s incredibly strong and water-resistant.

Next, we see the Dango Products D01 Dapper Wallet [$69] which is so much more than a typical wallet. It holds up to 12-cards, is RFID-blocking, and has aerospace-grade anodized aluminum chassis so it’s outrageously durable but still lightweight at only 2-ounces.

Here we’ve got The Cache River Bit Driver [$60] which is an incredibly handy everyday carry tool to have with you. This is one of those items that’s never nearby when I need it. The low-profile form factor designed specifically for everyday pocket carry and it features lightweight aluminum construction with a durable anodized finish. It has a ball bearing pivot for smooth driving action and the magnetic bit attachment point keeps it firmly in place when it’s in use. As I said, this is just a clutch tool to have with you most times.

Next up is the Jaybird Vista Earthproof Wireless Headphones [$180] in Nimbus Grey. These earbuds have been overhauled to meet the military’s MIL-STD 810G requirements. If they’re rugged enough for the troops they’re good enough for you, right? In order to receive the MIL-STD 810G certification, the ‘Earthproof’ Vistas had to endure ‘repeated shock, vibration, drop and crush tests, as well as withstanding tropical humidity, hurricane-force water and desert sandstorm conditions.’

The Mehlville Carabiner [$60] by The James Brand is a dual-compartment carabiner that’s perfect as an EDC tool. It is machined from a solid block of aluminum and the anodized finish ensures it won’t break down and corrode like cheaper options. It also has a notch for opening bottles! You can clip it on your belt loop, backpack, or keep it in your pocket to fit your carabiner needs.

Last up is the Aer Day Pack 2 Backpack [$140] which is an all-time favorite of mine. I’ve had an Aer Fit Pack 2 for years and I’ve traveled the world with it. It has a super handy zippered pocket at the bottom for your shoes as well as a massive central compartment. I often use this as my carry-on bag for flights. It also has a laptop sleeve and pockets throughout for everything you need to store.
