The 1966 Shelby Mustang was built with one purpose – to go fast. Uncomfortably fast. The kind of speed that shakes the ground and jolts the driver – and any adventurous passengers – until the thought “is this a good idea?” shakes out of their heads.
Unfortunately, unless you’ve got a bank account full of “f you” money or an old man with a Shelby sitting in the garage that’s yours once he makes an eternal exit, owning an original 1966 Shelby Mustang is a pipe dream. Maybe you’ll consider dropping down just as much as custom-made GT350.
Revology Cars will build a custom 1966 Shelby GT350 Mustang with a brand new engine and following features:
- The standard engine in the Revology Mustang is the Ford 5.0L Ti-VCT “Coyote” DOHC V8, rated at 435HP
- Choose between a six-speed manual and an electronically controlled automatic transmission, both with overdrive for effortless highway cruising and excellent fuel mileage
- A precisely tuned double wishbone suspension and power rack and pinion steering deliver modern handling.
- The GT350 comes with Shelby sport bucket seats, Shelby wood rim steering wheel, and dash mounted 9,000 RPM Shelby tach.
- Three point front seat belts, a dual circuit braking system, fuel shutoff inertia switch, collapsible steering shaft, and optional front seat head restraints help protect occupants in the event of a collision.
Although the cost of $189,000 is just as much as the auction prices, you won’t have to wait for a car to come up on the block or get outbid at the last minute.
