Howler Head Banana Infused Kentucky Straight Bourbon
There was a time in my life when I’d judge a flavored spirit without ever trying it but I was young and naive and had this preconceived notion about what I thought I should be drinking instead of paying attention what I liked to drink. I think it was the mixture of Sweet Tea Vodka and lemonade that first opened my eyes to how flavored spirits.
Now I’m stoked to introduce you guys to Howler Head Banana Infused Kentucky Straight Bourbon. It is legit bourbon from Green River Distilling (80-proof) and not some 51% blend of bourbon like some popular spirits out there. And it’s made with all-natural flavoring. Howler Head is also the official flavored whiskey of UFC which you might already know if you’ve been to a recent UFC fight. Dana White actually said “Howler Head is the best whiskey I’ve ever had” which is a big claim from the UFC President.
The Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Green River Distilling in Owensboro, KY is aged for 2 years in American oak barrels with an “aggressive #4 alligator char” before the all-natural banana flavor is added. It can be enjoyed neat for a kick of banana flavoring at the finish, on the rocks, as a flavor enhancement in a drink or cocktail, or as the lead ingredient.
