September is Apple’s announcement month. The company tries to remain aloof about when they’re dropping big announcements but you can almost set your clock by how reliably they drop new iPhone announcements in the month of September.

My iPhone is 2 years old and I’m about ready for an upgrade so I’ve been passively tracking the rumors lately to see if this year will be any good. Likewise, my computer is older than I’d like to admit and I’m desperately in need of a new laptop.

All signs point to my wants and needs being answered by Apple next month because a new report suggests the company is poised to announce a new MacBook alongside a slate of 3 new iPhones and new iPad Pros.

If all of this comes to fruition, this could be the biggest September announcement for Apple in recent memory.

The report comes from DigiTimes, an English-language Chinese publication that specializes in technology industry supply chains and thus is pretty good at figuring out product releases before they’re announced.

According to Mashable, Apple could do away with the 12-inch MacBook and 13-inch MacBook Pro without Touch Bar. Neither of those computers has been updated since June 2017 so it would make sense that they’d update the line of computers. The report suggests Apple will do away with the MacBook Air, and that Apple will announce a 13-inch MacBook powered by Intel’s 14-nanometer Kaby Lake processors which is expected to retail starting at $1,200.

That would mean the new lineup of MacBooks would look like this: a 13-inch basic/entry-level MacBook, a 13-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar, and a 15-inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar.

The new iPad Pros would feature two models, an 11-inch and a 12.9-inch model. They are expected to do away with the home button and feature smaller bezels. They’re also expected to include Face ID like the latest iPhones.

The DigiTimes report also claims Apple is finally ready to release their 3-in-1 AirPower wireless charger which will sell for somewhere between $150-$200.

As for the new iPhones, there’s expected to be a 6.1-inch and 6.5-inch (iPhone X Plus) model. Pictures of these rumored phones have leaked and you can check them out here. And there’s supposed to a third 5.8-inch iPhone which hasn’t been leaked yet.

The higher-end models will have dual rear cameras and OLED screens. Additional new features are all but certain to be included but they haven’t leaked yet.
