Luis Palomino is BKFC’s current Lightweight Champion and Welterweight Champion and he has gone on an absolute tear to earn that title. Following an MMA career that included a pair of fights against Justin Gaethje for the World Series of Fighting lightweight title, Palomino joined BKFC back in 2020.
Since then, he has won eight consecutive fights with seven of those wins coming in title fights.
On Friday, Luis Palomino take on a contender who has actually had an even longer bare knuckle career than his and also brings an undefeated record into the fight. James Lilley first made the move to bare knuckle back in 2018, 5 months before BKFC held their first event. Lilley put together a 4-0-1 record that included a pair of finishes before making the move to BKFC.
Since joining the organization, he has gone 3-0 with 2 more finishes. Now he’ll take on the toughest test of his career when he takes on Palomino at BKFC 45.
