Boots And Bourbon: A Huckberry X Buffalo Trace Collab

I’m usually not surprised by exclusive gear at Huckberry being great because they’re always great. They’ve been knocking it out of the park with fall wear, footwear, and other amazing gear time and time again. But they’ve truly outdone themselves this time with their exclusive Buffalo Trace 1000 Mile Boots from Wolverine.

For me, this is the kind of collaboration that feels like the planets are aligning. Buffalo Trace is one of my favorite bourbons (I routinely give bottles as gifts) and Wolverine has the exact style of boots that I crave in the fall. They’re crazy comfortable, the leather is sleek and stylish, and they go with just about any outfit.

I recently gifted a bottle of Buffalo Trace to a friend for a party. He now always pours me a glass while we’re sitting around his fire pit. I will definitely be wearing my 1000 Mile Boots the next time I’m over. I’m sure he’ll be very jealous.

Wolverine also dropped a limited run of the 1000 Mile Boot in conjunction with Old Van Winkle (the hallowed Buffalo Trace sublabel best known for producing the wildly coveted Pappy Van Winkle line) with a heel containing actual pieces of wood from the barrels the distillery uses to produce its incredibly sought-after juice.
