Would You Travel Across The Country In This Brand New European-Styled Airstream RV?

Would you love to travel from Barrow, Alaska to Southernmost Point, Key West and not take an airplane and not stay one single night in a hotel? Airstream’s newest RV could be the trailer you’ve been looking for. The Airstream Globetrotter features the typical famously silver exterior, but also has a sleek, streamlined, and European-styled interior. The iconic aluminum trailer that dates back to the 1930s gets a modernized and luxurious interior thanks to U.K. design studio Astheimer Limited.

The interior is a minimalist’s dream with the addition of several hidden nooks to store your personal stuff. But don’t sleep on how big this tiny trailer is inside. The 27-foot-long Globetrotter can sleep up to six people for some serious glamping. The kitchen area features a Moen stainless steel sink that is housed in Corian countertops alongside a three-burner stove with glass top. There’s also a 6.7-cubic-foot fridge and slide-out pantry. Handcrafted cabinetry gives the interior a luxury look. There are panoramic windows, perfect for when you’re parked and enjoying a glass of wine as you embrace all of the nature around you. But the windows can be covered by blackout curtains for extreme privacy.

There is a Polk surround sound system with FM/AM/XM-ready radio with Bluetooth as well as a Samsung LED HD TV with an omnidirectional antenna for entertainment. There are USB and 110V outlets throughout to always keep you powered up as well as LED lights for reading. This luxe trailer comes with power stabilizer jacks for easy setup once you’ve arrived at camp. Airstream’s Quietstream ducted climate control system keeps the cabin at a comfortable temperature whether you’re in Fargo, North Dakota or Death Valley, California. There is a solar pre-wire kit for renewable power input.

The Airstream Globetrotter will run a little more than a tiny house, but you’ll have the ability to travel the entire U.S. and have the mobility should a seriously dangerous situation come your way. The Globetrotter’s starting price will set you back $99,900 and will be launched at the Adobe MAX The Creativity Conference on October 18.
