There are plenty of chargers for controller batteries out there, but they are another device that needs its own power outlet, plus they have a cord dangling around. The charger also is another bulky item that takes up space in your entertainment area or bedroom. There’s a smart device for charging the batteries of your Xbox One controllers. Surprisingly, this awesomely designed charger is made by Best Buy and Amazon.
Best Buy offers a controller battery charger on their own Inginia brand that attaches right to your Xbox One S. The Insignia charger plugs into the Xbox One’s USB outlet. It sits flush against the side of the video game console. The unit is front-loading and holds two battery packs at once. There’s a charging indicator light that turns orange while charging and white when the batteries are fully charged. No extra cords or power outlets are necessary. Best Buy offers this charging device for $19.99.
Amazon also offers their own version of the Xbox One S controller battery charger on their own AmazonBasics brand. It is nearly identical as the Insignia version except that the Amazon model is top-loading. Amazon also offers their controller battery charger for $19.99.
