Grunt Style/American Grit
It’s February, which means most of us are in a rut when it comes to watching sports. Football is about to end, basketball and hockey haven’t heated up yet, and baseball is still two months away. What do you do? How do you fill the void? How about something different like…bull riding? Grunt Style and American Grit are proud to be in attendance starting this Thursday, February 8 at the 75th annual San Antonio Rodeo.
The rodeo first started back in 1949 as a simple livestock show. Since then, it has grown into one of the largest and most prestigious rodeos in the country. Cowboys from around the country flock to San Antonio for 2+ weeks of bull riding, barrel racing, and steer wrestling.
The thing that surprised me the most about this event is the level of live music they attract. This year’s lineup includes Brad Paisley, Cheap Trick, Styx, Wynonna Judd, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, and Brooks & Dunn. I don’t know about you, but this event sounds like an awesome time.
