Limited Edition Duke Cannon Mountain Dew Soap and Body Wash
Move over, shower beer. It’s officially time to do the Dew in the shower, though before anybody gets too carried away: your shower will not smell like a 20-ounce bottle of Mountain Dew. Duke Cannon went with lemon and eucalyptus, which lands somewhere between a citrus grove and the good kind of hangover cure. They’re calling the scent Bold Citrus and Good Times, which is roughly what happens when a very macho soap company out of Minneapolis and a soda brand built on cheerful chaos sit down in the same conference room and decide to enjoy themselves.
This special Duke Cannon soap and body wash collab arrives in two formats. There’s the THICK Body Wash, which does exactly what the name promises and then some, and there’s the Puck of Soap, Duke Cannon’s signature brick that appears to have been engineered for a guy with hands like dinner plates. Both are wearing packaging loud enough to spot from the far end of a Walmart aisle while you’re pushing a cart with one wobbly wheel.
If you’re somehow new to Duke Cannon, the brand has spent years building grooming products around a simple premise: most men would rather buy one enormous bar of soap every few months than think about their shower shelf ever again. Minneapolis-based, drawing on American manufacturing and military heritage, donating a portion of proceeds to veteran-focused causes. The bars are famously oversized and the marketing has never once apologized for it.
Mountain Dew supplies the other half of the personality. Kathy Dixon, marketing director at Duke Cannon, framed the partnership around people who “embrace adventure, stay true to themselves,” which is corporate-speak for the guy who leaves the house at 5 a.m. to fish and gets back after dark smelling like a bait cooler. That guy is real. That guy needs soap or else he’s sleeping on the couch (wife’s orders), and the marketing team at Duke Cannon is desperate to reach them.

Mountain Dew Soap Puck - Mountain Dew 5oz
Now, the logistics, which are important here.
You can’t buy this on Duke Cannon’s website.
The collection is exclusive to Walmart and runs through the end of September, so the window is genuine and it’s going to go fast. This means you can load up on Mountain Dew soap while you also load up on actually Mountain Dew and, if you’re me, bags of Doritos.
Walmart.com is also supposedly carrying a bundle that pairs the body wash and the Puck of Soap with a 12-pack of Mountain Dew, which is the correct play if you’d like your caffeine and your hygiene to arrive in the same cardboard box. IMG Licensing put the deal together. However, the link to actually buy it on Walmart.com is broken at the moment for some reason, so… you’re going to have to go to the store to see if your local has it (sorry about that; I’ll update it if it changes and starts to work again)
Limited-edition scents in this category tend to disappear quietly and then resurface on eBay at a markup that makes you feel personally foolish.
So if the idea of a lemon-eucalyptus brick the size of a paperback appeals to you even slightly, September is the month to act on it.
Worst case, you end up with a very good bar of soap and twelve Mountain Dews, which is a better haul than most people manage on a Tuesday.
