Garmin introduced three new smartwatches to their lineup of Fenix Plus 5 series devices and they are made for adventurers. Garmin’s Fenix 5S Plus, Fenix 5 Plus, and Fenix 5X Plus boast a bevy of cool features that allow your inner explorer to go off the grid and venture wherever your little heart desires.

The Fenix 5 Plus series wearables are ready to anywhere with built-in map data optimized for quick-glance navigation, location tracking, and advanced GPS mapping. Garmin’s Trendline feature presents topographical maps that suggest routes for hiking, running or cycling in their area, which will spice up your boring old runs.

The Fenix 5X Plus is perfect for the adventurer because it offers a wrist-based pulse oximeter that tracks your blood oxygen levels while you’re hiking, running or biking in high altitudes. The wearable will even present an on-screen graph of your blood oxygen saturation percentage history over the past 24 hours.

If you want to go swimming in a lake or the ocean no problem because the Fenix smartwatches are water-rated to 100 meters. The smartwatches flaunts a full-color Garmin Chroma Display with LED backlighting so that you can can see the screen even in the brightest sunlight. The Fenix 5S Plus features a 1.2-inch display, which is nearly a 20% increase over the previous model.

Garmin’s rugged new smartwatches have bezels made with PVD-coated stainless steel or lightweight titanium and range in size from 42mm to 55mm. The smartwatches can have a lightweight silicone watch band or a brushed titanium bracelet.

The 5 Plus series offers Garmin Pay, a contactless payment solution that allows users to leave their wallet at home. The Fenix 5 Plus lineup has impressive music storage that can hold up to 500 songs. Plus, iHeartRadio and Deezer paid subscribers can download music and playlists from their accounts to their smartwatch for offline listening. So now you don’t even need your smartphone for musical entertainment and motivation.

The smartwaches offer a UltraTrac power saver mode to extend battery life. The Feix 5S Plus can get up to 7 days in smartwatch mode or up to 4 hours in GPS and Music mode, the Fenix 5 Plus can get up to 10 days of battery life in smartwatch mode or 8 hours in GPS and Music mode, and Fenix 5X Plus can get up to 20 days of battery life in smartwatch mode and 13 hours in GPS and Music mode. All three Fenix 5 Plus series smartwatches will be available in Q2 2018 and will start at $699.99 and as much as $1,149.99.
