Modeled after the famous Vietnam-era Jungle Boot worn by U.S. Special Forces, the GORUCK MACV-1 boot is built to perform in the harshest environments while staying cool, calm, and collected.
MACV-1 is made with full-grain leather and 1000D Cordua nylon for the upper. A lightweight EVA midsole and an all-terrain rubber outsole are then added, making it easier to navigate rainy, muddy terrain without slipping or getting your feet wet.
GORUCK added tons of design features to the 6″ boot to make sure it lasts for years. They intentionally went with a wide toe box to help your toes breathe during long hikes, as well as 3mm speed laces that stay dry and clean so can you tie your boots faster than regular laces.
In terms of providing supreme comfort, a 13mm heel-to-toe drop is used to reduce strain on the body, and ankle webbing is sewn into the heel counter for increased stability. There’s also no spacer mesh—a material that has traditionally waterlogged boots in the past.
The MACV-1 is just as stylish as it is functional. You can choose from three different colors—Light Brown, Dark Brown, and Coyote Suede. Pair them with your best casual or rugged outfits and set out for an adventure in the city or the great outdoors.
You can snag the GORUCK MACV-1 on Huckberry right now for $160. Orders will qualify for free U.S. shipping too!
