Hennessey’s 1,000-HP Jeep Grand Cherokee Trachkawk Zooms 0-60 Faster Than A McLaren And Ferrari

Last month, we reviewed 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 and boasts an impressive 707 horsepower. One would surmise that nobody in their right mind would need a Jeep Grand Cherokee with more than 707-hp. The fine folks over at Hennessey Performance aren’t particularly concerned with sensible run-of-the-mill automobiles and made the Trackhawk even faster.

Despite being a Grand Cherokee, Hennessey’s Jeep Trackhawk HPE1000 is not your typical soccer dad car. The Trackhawk HPE1000 comes equipped with a Hellcat supercharged 6.2L V8 Hemi engine that pumps out 1,012 bhp. Not only does the Trackhawk have insane acceleration for an SUV, but also impressive get-go that compares to some of the world’s best sports cars.

The Trackhawk HPE1000 flies from 0-60 mph in an astounding 2.7 seconds. That kind of spectacular performance means the Trackhawk is quicker to 60 mph than speed demons such as a BMW M5, a McLaren 12C Porsche 911 GT3 RS, Ferrari 488, Chevrolet Corvette Z06, and Mercedes-AMG GT S.

Hennessey’s suped-up Jeep zooms down the quarter-mile disappears in just 10.7 seconds and hits 132 mph. The Trackhawk gets this neck-snapping speed by swapping out the standard blower for a 4.5-liter supercharger. Imagine destroying cars on the highway in this Jeep Grand Cherokee all while having 12 bags of Whole Food groceries in the back? Check out Hennessey’s massively-upgraded 2018 Lincoln Navigator.
