NFL Week 9. The halfway point. Baseball is almost over and basketball has barely started, so soon football will have our undivided attention, as it rightfully should with the season chugging along at a breakneck pace. Plus, it’s time for the trade deadline, which means my 1-game winning streak Jets will either sell off half the roster for not enough picks or sit still and think that their current roster is not far from contention. In any situation, I’ll be frustrated.

As for my results from Week 8, it looks like I’m starting to get the hot hand. 9-4 is rock solid, but I would have done better if I had a little more faith in the AFC East. Can you blame me? The Jets and Dolphins started to look like they’d never win again.
